Minnesota in The Springtime

Esperanza means hope in Spanish, and with spring each year, comes a new beginning. We see the robins and the first flowers poking through the earth that has been dormant for the winter. All of these exciting changes we experience each year while we choose to live our lives in the mid west. Each spring, we experience watching our children anticipate the coming of summer and therefore looking forward to their next year of school in the fall.
Our little flower, Claudia, is 9 years old, and she is learning about blogging today as I am sharing how a blog works and the opportunities for people to share their "voice" with others. Claudia is in the third grade at Washington Elementary school here in Rochester. She has expressed that she would like to be a writer when she grows up. Claudia has already began to write short stories, and has written several chapters of a book, and has just started another book called "The Story of Indigan." Claudia is writing a series and the first book of the series is called "Never Say When." Yes, I asked her what the book will be about, but she said that we will have to read the story to find out.
The Lord our God gives us new life each day and for that I am grateful.
